Magic Show Canceled

The Halloween Safety Magic Show scheduled for today at 4:00PM has been canceled due to a family emergency with our magician. We are going to try to reschedule a similar magic show with Dave Powers as soon as possible.

Halloween Story Time Parties

We will have our Story Time Halloween Parties during the week of October 24. After reading Where the Wild Things Are we will Trick or Treat around the library. Children are welcome to wear a costume and are asked to bring a treat to share. We will have snack time. For more information, please call (304)232-0244.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Party

Instead of a traditional Halloween Party, the Ohio County Public Library will be having a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Party on Saturday October 29 from 10-noon. Families may come to the library anytime from 10-noon to tour the lower level of the library which will be transformed into a chocolate factory. The tour will end in the auditorium where children will decorate a carry-out style box. All children will take home a treat. Registration is required for this event.
