Last week for Story Time and Toddler Time

Next week will be the last week for Story Time and Toddler Time before our 2 week break to prepare for summer reading.

All children's programming will resume the week of June 7 as we kick off our summer reading program, "Make a Splash-READ!"

Registration for the summer reading program will start Tuesday June 1 at 9:00 AM.

Make a Splash-READ!

Come "Make a Splash" at the Ohio County Public Library with our Summer Reading Program. Children up to 12 years old can register to participate. Every child is encouraged to read (or be read to) for 8 hours this summer. Children who complete this goal will receive a ticket to attend our Summer Reading Finale Pool Party at Wheeling Park! Registration begins Tuesday June 1, but you can register all summer long. Each week, children can bring in their time log to be signed. Their name will be posted on our "Wall of Water" and they may select a small prize from our treasure chest. There will also be Story Times, Kid's Fun Day @ Centre Market, and lots of programs here at the library all summer long. Some of our programs include the SMART Science Center on June 7, a Story Time at the Wheeling Park with storytelling, campfire songs, and TOASTED MARSHMALLOWS on June 14, Minute to Win It, craft programs, Magician Dave Powers on July 16 and The Bassmeister, Curt Strutz on August 6. We hope you will stop in an register and MAKE A SPLASH!
