2nd Annual Fall Creative Writing Contest

Plans for the 2nd Annual Fall Writing Contest are underway. Students in Third through Sixth Grades residing in Ohio County are invited to enter. All work must be original, typed or printed with a minimum of 200 words and a maximum of 500 words. Each student may enter one story. Entries should include the student's name, grade level, school or school district (if home-schooled), teacher's name, and word count. All entries must be received by Monday October 26, 2009. Two winners will be chosen from each division at each school. One grand prize winner from each division will be awarded. Contest Divisions are Third Grade, Fourth Grade. Fifth Grade, and Sixth Grade. Winners will be notified during the week of November 9th, 2009. The Awards Ceremony will be held Monday November 16th at 6:00 PM. Please contact the library with any questions.
