Storyteller Program

Tomorrow, Thursday July 30 at 2:00 PM Storyteller, Lyn Ford will be doing a program to wrap up the Summer Reading Program. Ms. Ford will share stories from all over the world. We hope you will join us for this special program.

THE END IS NEAR!!!!

Don't forget that reading time logs need to be completed and Finale Tickets picked up by Wednesday August 5th for the Summer Reading Finale Party on Friday August 7th. Kids need to have read (or been read to) for 8 hours by August 8. That's 32 stickers on the reading log!
Also, there will be Story Time next week, August 3rd-5th. Our theme will be "Wild About Reading". A two week break will be observed the weeks of August 10th and 17th. Story Time will resume August 24. Toddler Time will be on break from August 7th-August 21st and will return on Friday August 28th.

Upcoming Events!

Don't forget that Thursday July 16 is Tie-Dye Day! Bring your shirt to dye to the classroom (downstairs in the library). We have selected blue, green, and purple for our dye colors this year. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SHIRT! We will not have extras.

On Monday July 20 at 6:00 PM we will be having an American Girl Tea Party.

Don't forget to bring in your reading logs. If you have read for 8 hours (32 stickers) you can now pick up your Finale Party ticket! The Finale Party will be on Friday August 7 at 11:00 AM. At noon, Wild World of Animals will be doing a presentation. They will be bringing LOTS of cool animals. You don't want to miss it!

The Ohio County Public Library will be presenting a program by magician Dave Powers on Friday July 10 at 2:00 PM. The program is open to all ages.

Summer Reading 2009

We have reached the half way point of our summer reading program, "Get Creative @ Your Library". Finale Tickets are now available at the Circulation Desk for participants completing their 8 hour reading goal. The Finale Party will be held on Friday August 7th at 11:00 AM. Our theme will be "Wild About Reading". At 12:00 Noon, Wild World of Animals will put on a spectacular show with lots of live animals for everyone to see and maybe touch. Get reading so you can earn your ticket!
