The week of May 4 will be the last Story Time sessions before the three week break and the start of the Summer Reading Program. On Monday, May 4, we will celebrate "Be Kind to Animals Week" with a program by the Ohio County Animal Shelter. The program will be held in the auditorium at 6:00 PM. During the Story Time sessions, the children will get to help plant our Story Time Garden by the 16th Street entrance.
Story Time and Mother Goose on the Loose Sessions will resume the week of June 1st. We will be redesigning our story Time sessions for summer to include a broader range of ages and abilities. We will be learning new songs that will match our weekly theme, introducing Puppet Play Poetry, using bells, rhythm sticks, and drums, and much more. We hope that you will try out a session with your family! If you have any questions, please call me at (304) 232-0244.
